SNEEDVILLE — An investigation by special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the indictment and arrest of a Sneedville man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.
NASHVILLE — Gas prices continue to move more expensive across the state, rising 11 cents, on average, over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $3.92 which is 25 cents more expensive than one month ago and $1.15 cents more expensive than one year ago.

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state routes for the Labor Day holiday travel period. Construction crews will stop all lane-closure activities at noon on Friday, September 4, and resume at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8. This will provide maximum roadway capacity for motorists traveling during the Labor Day holiday.
