The Lenoir City Museum is excited to announce new exhibits for the 2025 season.
“We have added electronic photo frames to showcase the many pictures in our collection,” a release stated. “Included are old postcards, pictures of downtown Lenoir City businesses, celebrations, parades and so much more.
“In addition, there is a series of QR codes to scan with your phone’s camera giving more information about specific exhibits.
NEW WEBSITE A ‘WORK IN PROGRESS’
“Our website is also new, but still a work in progress — take a look at https://lenoircitymuseum.org.
“And use our Facebook page — Lenoir City Museum — to let us know what else you’d like to see.”
Information submitted by Beverly Sweeney states that these new exhibits were made possible by a grant from the Tennessee Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
“We are so grateful for their support … enabling us to move into the future.
“We also greatly appreciate an additional donation from Paulette Corcoran and the work of Liz Logan, Kathy LeNoir and Beverly Sweeney — all members of the General William Lenoir Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and friends of the museum,” a release added.
Hours for the 2025 season are Thursday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please call 865-986-9169 or 865-292-3960 for off-hours or group tours.
“We look forward to seeing you at 110 Depot Street soon,” the release concluded.
