The Public Library at Tellico Village will hold its 22nd annual book sale April 22-23 in the Christian Life Center of the Community Church at Tellico Village.
The sale will be open to the public 9 a.m.-7 p.m. April 22 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 23. This year book lovers will be able to purchase a $25 coupon, which will be good for the purchase of 20 items, excluding speciality items. Coupons can be purchased the days of the sale. All items, except speciality items that are individually priced, will cost $1, $2 or $3.
The library accepts paperback books, hardback books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and books on tape.
Book donations began Feb. 5. Donation bins are located at the Tanasi Golf Course clubhouse, Chota Recreation Center and the library. Hardcover and paperback books, children’s books, local history and cookbooks, books on CD and tape and DVDs and CDs in good condition are welcome. The library will not accept encyclopedias or textbooks. The final day for donations will be April 15.
This event is the signature fundraiser for the library. All proceeds help finance mortgage and operating costs for the facility.
