Here’s what we know about Jacob Allen Morley’s escape from the Tennessee Department of Corrections: Morley, who was serving a life sentence for the first-degree murder of Cody Birchfield, managed to escape from the Northwest Correction Center in Tiptonville late Sunday night by breaching the perimeter fence.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation shared a video, seeming to show Morley stealing a truck from the Lindamood Planting Company in the early hours of Monday morning.

The Hornbeak Fire Department also shared a video of the truck driving by the building. The same vehicle was spotted in Troy a few minutes later.
Morley is now on the TBI’s most wanted list with a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his capture.
An anonymous resident living near the complex believe Morley has probably left the area.
"He's nowhere close to here, you know. That's the last place he'd want to be, especially coming out of here. He's getting as far away from here as he can get, you know. He's closer to Memphis or Jackson, you know. He's not in Lake County no more. If he's smart, he's not," said the resident.
The truck Morley stole was found in Illinois
That seems to be correct. The TBI confirmed that the truck Morley stole was located in Marion, Illinois, roughly 2.5 hours North of Tiptonville, around 1:00 PM today, making this a multi-state manhunt.
Authorities say Morley is dangerous, so if you see him, you should not approach, just call the police.
