The Tellico Village ladies’ team recently took home its fourth victory in four years in the scratch division of the Knoxville Interclub League.
The league consists of eight private golf clubs in the Knoxville area. Village team members are committed to winning the summer-long event.
Players at the beginning of the season put match dates on their calendars, and team members make sure they keep those dates open for play. The four lowest-handicap players available compete in the matches at the various clubs.
To keep their games sharp, players practice together and compete on Thursdays. Most Village players are also members of the Tellico Village Ladies Golf Association 18-hole league.
