Political forums
The Tellico Village HomeOwners Association is sponsoring a series of town hall political forums with the first set for 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Community Church at Tellico Village.
The first town hall will feature candidates running for Loudon County offices that govern the Tellico Village area.

Craft and bake sale
The Tellico Village Community Church Crafters are preparing for their first craft and bake sale of 2018, which is set for 9 a.m.-noon March 24 in the Christian Life Center of the Community Church at Tellico Village.
First launched in 1988, the Crafters group gives women a chance to meet others with similar interests as they contribute crafting skills to raise money for charities and organizations in Loudon and Monroe counties.
The last sale raised more than $15,000, and the Crafters hope to raise even more this spring.
In addition to the baked goods available for sale, shoppers will find beautiful floral wreaths and decorations, seasonal mailbox covers, greeting cards, bridge tallies, painted items and a variety of sewn items such as casserole holders, table runners, soup cosies, quilts, golf seat covers and more.
The Crafters are always looking for new members and new craft ideas are welcomed. Church membership is not required and all interested ladies are invited to join the group, which meets most Monday mornings at the church.
If interested, stop by and see what is happening.
