LOUDON, Tenn. — The Loudon County Health Department, in partnership with several local organizations, is announcing the upcoming “Step into Spring” Family Fun Fair.

According to a press release, this is a community event designed to promote health, wellness and family engagement — and is free to the public.

Everyone is encouraged to come out to enjoy the day of fun, while also connecting with local organizations.

“We are so thrilled to be able to partner with so many local partners to bring this event to our community,” said Loudon County Health Director Tony Lowery. “This event is not only an opportunity to have fun, but to also connect families to a variety of local resources to help them live healthy lives.”

The fair will offer a wide range of information and learning opportunities, such as:

• Health and Wellness Resources: Learn about health services and resources available locally in Loudon County.

• Emergency Preparedness Information: Hear from emergency preparedness and management professionals, explore emergency vehicles up close, and receive smoke alarms and car seat safety checks.

• Community Engagement: Learn about clubs, sports and other activities available to get more involved in Loudon County.

Some of the community partners and agencies participating will include: Loudon County Government; Loudon City Government; Loudon Fire Department; Loudon County Health Improvement Council; Parks and Recreation; Fort Loudoun Medical Center; UT Extension; Loudon County Schools; and many more.

Event attendees will have the chance to meet and learn from these local agencies, gather valuable resources, and participate in activities to promote healthy lifestyles, a press release stated.
