The Public Library at Tellico Village is seeking volunteers to help distribute fliers starting today for its annual 4Bs — barbecue, bluegrass, beer and books — fundraiser.
Fliers are available at the front desk of the library. Volunteers can pick up what they need and email beck ythaile@gmail.com with the streets they will deliver.
Please deliver fliers within a week of picking them up, placing them in the paper box below the mailbox.
Annual book sale
The Friends of Tellico Village Library is looking for people to join the annual book sale team as logistics coordinator and team leader.
A member-supported nonprofit, Friends provides support for the library and its literacy and educational programs.
The annual book sale is part of the events program that allows the Friends to give financial aid to the library.
Preparations for the sale are year round. However, the main responsibilities for the team leader and logistics coordinator coincide with the month of and before the sale. It is critical to continuing the sale to find volunteers for these positions.
