Loudon ALIVE awarded free concert grant

Loudon County placed first in the state-wide voting stage of the Levitt AMP Grant Competition.

LOUDON, Tenn. — Loudon ALIVE stated in a news release that it is “thrilled” to announce that Loudon has been awarded a multi-year $84,000 Levitt AMP grant … with matching funds committed by the City of Loudon … to bring a brand-new free outdoor music series to the Tate & Lyle Performing Arts Amphitheater at Loudon Municipal Park in 2026, 2027 and 2028.

“In an incredible show of community spirit, Loudon County placed first in the state-wide voting stage of the Levitt AMP Grant Competition,” the Loudon ALIVE release stated. “This achievement reflects the dedication of residents, businesses and supporters who spread the word and cast their votes to bring live music to Loudon.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated. … Your voices made this victory possible.”

Beginning in the summer, the Levitt AMP Loudon Music Series will transform the amphitheater into a lively gathering place with up to 10 free concerts each year featuring diverse artists and genres.

Families, friends and neighbors will be able to enjoy world-class performances under the stars — all at no cost.

“This exciting initiative is part of the Levitt Music Series Grants, a national program that revitalizes public spaces through the power of live music,” the release went on to state. “Loudon joins five other Tennessee communities in a first-of-its-kind collaboration between the Levitt Foundation, the Tennessee Entertainment Commission and the Tennessee Departments of Economic and Community Development and Tourist Development.”

Together, these partners will bring up to 180 free concerts across Tennessee over the next three years.

“This is more than just concerts — it’s about creating a welcoming space where everyone in Loudon and the region can come together, celebrate our community and experience the joy of live music,” said Mayor Jeff Harris of the City of Loudon.

“Stay tuned for the lineup announcement in early 2026,” the original release went on to state.

“Get ready, Loudon! The music is coming, and it’s free for all!”
