Nancy C. Meyerhofer, 78, of Tellico Village, passed away July 19, entering into heaven. She was surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Nancy was born at home, in Swanton, Ohio, and attended Bowling Green State University before she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Meyerhofer. They were married 57 years. Together they lived in Ohio, Michigan, Australia and England, before moving to Tellico Village.

An excellent cook, Nancy loved to prepare new recipes for friends. She was a member of the American Wine Society and enjoyed pairing food with wine. She also enjoyed traveling, knitting, bridge, golf and walking. Nancy loved her children, Kimberly, Todd and grandchild, Katarina. Nancy was a member of the Community Church of Tellico Village. Everyone who knew Nancy loved her.

She was preceded in death by father, Clarence Wiles; and mother, Myrtle Longernecker Wiles.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Meyerhofer; children, Kimberly Sauter (Guenter) of Ridgefield, Conn., and Todd Meyerhofer (Miriam) of Napa, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Katarina Sauter. Siblings include Norma Thomas-Herr (Michael) of Wauseon, Ohio, and Rick Wiles (Maggie) of Petoskey, Mich.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at the Community Church at Tellico Village with the Rev. Stephen Prevatte officiating. Ashes are to be inurned in the Community Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Community Church, 130 Chota Center, Loudon, TN 37774.
