Peggy Ann Galloway passed away Nov. 1, 2019.

Born March 8, 1935, in Cadmus, Ky., to Thomas and Edna Collinsworth, she graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1957 and accepted a position with the IBM Corporation. After training in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was assigned to the Columbus, Ohio, branch office, where she met and married Raymond Galloway, who was a captain in the Ohio National Guard. They were married Aug. 31, 1962. She then transferred to the Akron, Ohio, branch office.

She resigned from IBM and later worked as a senior computer systems analyst for the B.F. Goodrich Company until her husband was appointed adjutant general of the Ohio National Guard. After retirement, they moved to several retirement communities, enabling them to pursue their real passion — golf.

She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Maj. Gen. Raymond R. Galloway; brother and his wife, Thomas and Roma Collinsworth of Yorktown, Va.; two nephews, Timothy Collinsworth of Virginia Beach, Va., and Matthew Collinsworth of Bremerton, Wash.; and three nieces, Melanie Blackadar of Burke, Va., Jennifer Collinsworth of Rawlins, Wyo., and Caitlin Collinsworth of Washington District of Columbia.
